My Personal Philosophy: Leadership as Holy Influence
After years of study, ministry experience, and spiritual reflection, my summary is this:
Leadership is the Spirit-empowered act of influencing people toward God’s purposes by embodying the character of Christ and equipping others to do the same.
This conviction leads me to five commitments:
1. Lead From Identity
Before leading others, I must know who I am in Christ.
Leadership that is not anchored in identity becomes reactionary.
2. Lead With Scripture
Biblical leadership is always Word-formed.
Scripture shapes ethics, decisions, and motivations.
3. Lead By Serving
People are image bearers, not resources.
Leadership is stewardship, not entitlement.
4. Lead Through Transformation
My goal is not compliance but Christlikeness.
Leadership that does not change people spiritually is incomplete.
5. Lead in Community
Leadership is never a solo act.
Shared leadership reflects the God’s relational nature.
This model is not abstract — it determines how I preach, teach, plan, counsel, build teams, and develop emerging leaders.
