The Future of Formation: Faith in Every Space
The future of spiritual formation is hybrid β rooted in Scripture, expressed in community, and extended through technology. God is forming His people in sanctuaries, classrooms, and chatrooms alike.
The digital age has multiplied the ways we can learn, serve, and worship together. The challenge is to remain authentic β to let technology serve formation, not replace it. When used wisely, digital connection can deepen real discipleship by expanding how the gospel reaches, teaches, and transforms lives.
As one online pastor reflected, βWe donβt need to fear the screen; we need to fill it with grace.β
The question, then, is not whether the Church will adapt β but whether we will allow God to form us faithfully within this new world.
