A Call to Think Differently
When Alana and Mark met again at a leadership seminar years later, both were thriving. Mark had climbed quickly within a multinational firm; Alana managed a regional department for a Bahamian bank.
“Do you ever wish you’d studied abroad?” Mark asked.
Alana smiled. “Sometimes. But I’m glad I started where I did—it grounded me.”
Their paths were different, but their destination—the pursuit of excellence—was the same.
In the end, the degree matters, yes—but the development of the mind and the mission of the heart matter even more.
