A Reflection for Today
If Pentecostals are to steward their history faithfully, we must remember both the brilliance and the brokenness.
The revival began in a segregated hallway.
It ignited in an interracial warehouse.
It fractured under cultural strain.
It organized under leaders like Haywood.
It expanded globally.
This is not just history.
It is inheritance.
And it calls us to humility.
Because the same Spirit that fell in Topeka and Los Angeles still moves today — not bound by race, not confined by culture, but seeking hearts hungry enough to listen… even from the hallway.
