Here are five leadership truths that have reshaped my theology and philosophy of leadership.
1️⃣ The Goal of Leadership Is Image Renewal — Not Influence
Paul writes that believers are being renewed “in knowledge according to the image of the One who created him” (Col. 3:10). That is not poetic language. It is leadership language.
The ultimate goal of Christian leadership is conformity to Christ (Rom. 8:29).
Not attendance.
Not applause.
Not institutional growth.
Transformation.
Leadership that is not aimed at spiritual maturity may be effective — but it is not biblical.
