Leadership focuses on change.
Management organizes.
Leadership transforms.
In Christian education and ministry contexts, we need both.
You can manage a system and still fail to form souls.
You can inspire vision and fail to build sustainable structure.
Healthy leadership integrates:
- Human skill (relationship and trust-building)
- Conceptual skill (vision clarity and theological coherence)
- Ethical responsibility (because of power differentials)
Leadership without structure burns out.
Structure without leadership stagnates.
The Way approach is not either/or.
It is redeemed integration.
