A Courage That Comes Too Late—Or Right on Time
From the shadows, a man steps forward.
“After this, Joseph of Arimathea… asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus” (John 19:38).
Joseph is described as a disciple—but secretly.
Hidden.
Careful.
Until now.
Because there comes a moment when quiet belief must become visible action.
To request the body of a crucified man is to risk association—to align oneself with the condemned. And yet Joseph steps forward… when others have stepped back.
And he is not alone.
