The Body of the King
Carefully… reverently… they take Him down.
The same hands that healed the blind…
The same feet that walked the sea…
The same body that bore the weight of the world…
Now wrapped in linen.
“Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury” (John 19:40).
This is not rushed.
It is intentional.
Even in death… He is treated as King.
