Imago Dei in Leadership and Education
Leaders and educators shaped by the Imago Dei nurture wisdom, empathy, and transformation. Kevin Hall (2020) and Howell (2010) highlight leadership as spiritual vocation — the act of guiding others toward reflecting God’s image within community life.
A leader’s calling is not merely to manage systems, but to mirror God’s character — integrity, justice, and love — thereby restoring others to their God-given dignity.
Restoration and Hope
Though the Fall fractured humanity’s reflection of God, it did not erase it. Through the Spirit, believers are renewed “from glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). In eternity, we will bear His image fully (1 John 3:2). Until then, every act of mercy, truth, and righteousness restores glimpses of Eden.
Christ, the perfect image, now indwells His people. The Imago Dei, once marred by sin, is being restored through sanctification — until the day when redemption is complete and humanity again reflects the full glory of its Creator.
