The Place Called Calvary
They arrive at Golgotha.
“There they crucified Him” (Luke 23:33).
No long explanation.
No dramatic description.
Just the reality.
Hands pierced.
Feet fastened.
Body lifted.
The King is raised… not on a throne of gold, but on wood.
And above Him, a sign:
“THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS” (Matthew 27:37).
Rome intends mockery.
Heaven declares truth.
Between Two Worlds
He is crucified between two criminals.
One joins the mockery:
“If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us!”
The other sees something more:
“Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
And Jesus responds:
“Today you will be with Me in Paradise” (Luke 23:43).
Even on the cross…
He saves.
