The Cry of Completion
From the cross, Jesus speaks again:
“It is finished.” (John 19:30)
Not “I am finished.”
It is finished.
The work.
The mission.
The purpose.
Every prophecy.
Every sacrifice.
Every shadow of the Old Covenant—
fulfilled.
Then:
“Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit” (Luke 23:46).
And He breathes His last.
The Veil is Torn
At that moment:
“The veil of the temple was torn in two” (Luke 23:45).
From top to bottom.
Not by human hands.
The barrier is gone.
Access is open.
What the temple represented…
the cross has accomplished.
