The beauty of making room
When we intentionally create space for Christ—through prayer, stillness, Scripture, worship, reflection—we discover that He fills the emptiest parts of us:
• our anxieties
• our disappointments
• our longing for peace
• our desire to feel grounded
• our ache for meaning
The innkeeper’s world was bursting with everything except the One thing he truly needed. Many of us can relate.
But the good news is this: while the innkeeper missed Christmas, we don’t have to. The Savior still draws near. He still knocks. He still waits to be welcomed.
And when we make room for Him—space in our hearts, space in our homes, space in our daily rhythm—the miracle of Christmas becomes real again.
Not a story.
Not a season.
But a Savior.
