Mary Needed the Journey
Mary was a pregnant teenager.
Nazareth was filled with:
- Gossip
- Ridicule
- Shame
Traveling with Joseph offered:
- Protection
- Dignity
- Space for God’s work to unfold
Sometimes God moves us—not just for prophecy—but for preservation.
A Humble Birth — And Busy People
Luke tells us:
“There was no room for them in the inn.”
The innkeeper is one of the people who missed Christmas.
Not because he was cruel.
Not because he was evil.
But because he was busy.
- The town was full
- The census brought crowds
- Life was demanding
So he said, “No room.”
And many still say the same today.
A Question We Must Ask
How about you?
Are you saying:
“I have no room for You right now, Jesus”?
No room because of:
- Stress
- Work
- Distractions
- Schedules
- Pressure
Christmas can pass by quietly while we are consumed with life.
