The King Who Inspects Before He Acts
Jesus enters the temple courts quietly that evening. No confrontation. No disruption. Just a careful, deliberate gaze.
The temple is the heart of Israel’s worship—the place of sacrifice, prayer, and the presence of God. But what Jesus sees is not what it was meant to be.
He sees:
- Commerce where there should be consecration
- Noise where there should be prayer
- Systems that benefit leaders but burden worshipers
And so, He withdraws.
Because what will happen next is not reaction—it is judgment.
