The Pattern We Cannot Ignore
The fig tree and the temple tell the same story:
- Outward appearance does not equal inward reality
- Religious activity does not guarantee spiritual fruit
- Proximity to God does not mean alignment with God
Jesus is not impressed with leaves.
He is looking for fruit.
