Story: Devin’s Choice
Devin’s a regular eleventh-grader—plays basketball, works part-time, hangs with his crew. He’s not the “bad kid,” just someone who likes to fit in. Last week, one of his friends brought a few vape pens to school. They were cheap, flavored, and everyone wanted to try. Devin didn’t plan to, but the pressure hit hard. “Come on, bro, one puff won’t kill you.” Later that night, he kept replaying the moment in his head—the laughter, the acceptance, the fear of standing out. It wasn’t about the vape anymore. It was about who he wanted to be when no one was watching.
