The Space Between Warning and Response
There is mercy even in this moment.
Because the disciples are not the fig tree.
They are witnesses.
And in witnessing, they are being invited to respond.
Jesus does not immediately turn this into condemnation—He turns it into teaching (Mark 11:22–26). But before the lesson comes the realization:
What He says… happens.
What He sees… matters.
What He judges… is real.
