The Quiet Between Word and Fulfillment

    That evening, nothing appears different.

The tree still stands. The road remains the same. Life continues.

    But something has already begun.

This is the tension of Monday night:

    The word has been spoken…
but the evidence has not yet appeared.

And this is often how God works.

    • He declares before He demonstrates
    • He reveals before He fulfills
    • He speaks before we see

The disciples rest that night unaware that they have already witnessed something irreversible.

    Morning Reveals What Was Hidden

The next day, as they walk the same road again, the moment returns—but now, it is unmistakable.

“Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots” (Mark 11:20).

    Not just withered.

    Dead.

    From the roots.

Peter is the first to speak:

“Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away” (Mark 11:21).

What was spoken in a moment…
    has taken full effect.
