The Ascension (Acts 1:1–11; Matthew 28:18–20)
The tomb is empty.
The risen Christ has been seen—by Mary in the garden, by disciples on the road, by those gathered behind locked doors, by Thomas in his doubt. Fear has begun to give way to faith.
But Jesus is not finished.
Resurrection was never the end of the story.
It was the beginning of a mission.
Forty Days of Clarity
“He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God” (Acts 1:3).
Forty days.
Not a moment. Not a glimpse.
Time.
Time to restore understanding.
Time to reframe expectation.
Time to prepare His followers for what comes next.
Because what they once misunderstood…
they must now carry.
