The First Encounter
Mary Magdalene lingers.
Grief keeps her near the place where she last saw Him.
And then…
“Jesus said to her, ‘Mary!’” (John 20:16)
One word.
Her name.
And everything changes.
“Rabboni!”—Teacher.
The first voice to hear the risen Christ…
is the one who stayed.
The Beginning of a New Reality
Jesus is no longer in the tomb.
Not stolen.
Not moved.
Not hidden.
Risen.
Alive.
And with His resurrection:
- Death is defeated
- Sin is conquered
- Hope is restored
This is not the end of the story.
This is the beginning.
